Investment

Morris Property Group has grown from an investment background, acquiring strategic investment properties from which hospitality and retail businesses were operated across Canberra in the 1980s. More recently, the group has acquired further assets consisting of commercial office space in Canberra, ACT and Brisbane, QLD. The objective of the Group has bee to create a stable income base from its property investment portfolio, to diversify much of the inherent volatility of development and construction activities.

Development

Morris Property Group has grown from its grassroots hospitality and retail background through the redevelopment of key strategic assets since 1990. Over the last 20 years, Morris Property Group has developed internal processes and policies that has standardized and streamlined the property development process, significantly enhancing the Group’s performance in a volatile industry. These systems enable Morris Property Group to perform advanced risk assessments and implement risk neutralization strategies while delivering high quality product with a commonsense approach.

Construction

The addition of the in-house construction team, Morris Construction Corporation, has enabled Morris Property Group achieve excellence in all aspects of project delivery. The construction team is involved in all phases of the design process. By providing guidance and advice on buildability, cost-effective construction methods, programming and cost planning from an early stage, project design and delivery is highly efficient, responsive and well-planned.
